What’s it all about:
Simon Wood an award winning games production designer and 2012 BAFTA nominee for Artistic Achievement for his work on the groundbreaking LA Noire, will talk about the extraordinary artwork for this game. Simon has vast experience in art direction, character development, performance (including mo cap direction), props (physical and virtual) and animation supervision. Starting out as an Art Department Assistant on Star Wars Episode One – The Phantom Menace, Simon went on to work on Tomorrow Never Dies (James Bond 18) as Art Department Junior/Concept Designer, Thunderbirds (live action feature film) as Concept Art Director, and extensively as an art director and production designer in music video, TVC and games. His game credits include: The Getaway & The Getaway: Black Monday (PS2) and LA Noire (PS3,XBOX 360, PC).
Simon has spoken extensively at conferences around the world and is a leading talent in games world creation.
